CCBC BLAC

MISSION

The Black Leadership Advocacy Caucus (BLAC) consists of people from the African Diaspora at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). The mission of BLAC is to promote a culture of oneness dedicated to enhancing the various identities of the African Diaspora. We will facilitate professional welfare and growth through collaboration, community service, education, research, outreach and cultural activities for the CCBC community.

VISION

We commit to being a critical resource for the continued success of CCBC in pursuit of its objectives towards an inclusive community by developing and cultivating working relationships with key administrators and operating units. We aim to:

• ensure the equitable treatment of members of the African Diasporic community at CCBC.
• provide a means of communication, interaction, education and support for members through seminars, discussion groups, and social events.
